Rainer Westermann has more than 35 years experience as a public relations and investor relations professional in Germany, Canada and the USA. He managed professional services firms, and, as Corporate Vice President Communication of Infineon Technologies AG, was responsible for building, improving and protecting corporate reputation. Since 2018, he is President of the Crisis Protection Network, Zurich, an association under Swiss law that brings together crisis experts from around the world. Rainer spent six years in North America, where he was a Member of the Management Board of LHS Group, an Atlanta based NASDAQ listed software company. As Investor Relations Officer, he represented the company as corporate spokesperson towards the global investment community and the media. During this time he appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, n-tv and other stations. In Toronto, he built a successful corporate communications and investor relations practice for Fleishman-Hillard Canada. Rainer is actively involved with the Technical University Munich, serving on the Executive Education Board of the TUM School of Management, as well as teaching as a lecturer in the Executive MBA Program. He has spoken at many national and international trade and investment conferences. As a trainer at the DIKT, he draws from this broad experience and know how in developing and delivering his tailored training and workshops.
